2-3YR COMBO:

The class consists of 45 min. of diving into the exciting world of dance and improvisation. A wonderful introduction to 

the basics of ballet, tap, rhythm, tumbling, class structure and body awareness.
3 1/2 - 4YR COMBO:

The class consists of 50 min of dance structured for the Pre-School age dancer. Children will explore all avenues of 

ballet, tap and intro to tumbling with the use of imagination, fun music and props.
4 1/2 - 5YR COMBO:

The class consists of 50 min. of dance structured for the dancer preparing to enter Kindergarten. Children will be introduced to basic ballet terminology and skills along with basic tap terminology and skills while building a foundation for future progression in the study of ballet, jazz and tap.
5 - 6YR COMBO:

Classes introduce basic ballet vocabulary and movement skills while building a foundation for future progression in the study of ballet, jazz & tap. Classes are for the 1st or 2nd year student.
BALLET TECHNIQUE 6YR & UP:
1 1/2hr technique class. Does NOT perform in recital.
Director approval needed for proper class placement. A graded syllabus is taught for Levels 1 –5. Ballet is the foundation of all forms of dance. Provides the dance student with complete fundamental training based on traditional classical ballet technique, with a focus on proper placement and alignment. Each student will learn ballet vocabulary through barre and center work while building strength and flexibility.
BALLET CLASS 6YR & UP: 

1hr classical ballet class that performs in the year end recital. A graded syllabus is taught for levels 1-4. 


Provides student with the complete fundamental training based on traditional ballet technique, with a focus on proper placement and alignment.
JAZZ TECHNIQUE 6YR & UP:

1hour technique class. Does NOT perform in recital. Taught on graded syllabus of Levels 1-5. Director approval needed for appropriate class placement. Classes teach basic jazz technique, terminology and movement quality with an emphasis on proper execution of jazz isolations, rhythms and style; all while developing correct body alignment, flexibility, and strength.
JAZZ CLASS 5YR & UP:

45min. To 1hr class that performs in the year end recital. A graded syllabus taught on Levels 1-4. Classes teach basic jazz technique, terminology and movement quality with an emphasis on proper execution of jazz Isolations, rhythms and style; all while developing correct body alignment, flexibility, and strength.
CONTEMPORARY 7YR & UP:

1hr class that is taught based on a graded syllabus Levels 1-4. A fusion of ballet, jazz, and modern tech-


niques that emotes personal expression and / or a story.
***Minimum of 1 year of prior ballet or jazz training.
45min to 1hr class that is a funky energetic street based technique derived from NY and LA.
45min. Class that presents various rhythms made by movement of the feet. Promotes musicality, timing and rhythm.
Teacher recommendation needed. Students must be enrolled in a ballet III or above. An extension of ballet done on toe.
Adult Classes:
Adult classes are offered in Ballet, Tap, Jazz in Hip-Hop. Beginner and Int. classes are offered!
Boy's Only:
NEW! This class is strictly for boys only! Baseball caps and trainers are essential! The boy's fun class works on strength and flexibility in jazz, hip hop and break dancing. The classes are excellent to help with stamina, coordination, flexibility and spacing to support other sporting activities. Boys are welcome and do also attend any of our other regular classes.

CLASS LEVELS
These levels are guidelines, not absolutes, to suggest for whom the class is geared. The first 2 weeks of class will be an evaluation period. The instructor then may suggest that the dancers move to a more appropriate level if need be. Students remain in their appropriate level until they have reached a degree of competency with the curriculum. The instructor will recommend when students should proceed to the next level. Students & parents are welcome to discuss level placement with the instructor.
Level I: These are beginner classes for students with limited experience in the curriculum. Provides the student with complete fundamental training based on traditional dance technique. These classes will focus on the basic positions and body alignment.
Level II: This advanced beginner class builds upon basic technique learned in Level I to gain strength and speed. Please consult class teacher for proper counseling on student’s progress, development and placement. Please note, two years of Level I may be recommended prior to moving to Level II.
Level III-V: These classes require students to correctly execute material learned in Levels I and II. Students continue to learn working for speed and complexity as well as proper technique. The choreography and skills taught in the class will be more advanced and taught at a faster pace than previous levels. Geared for dancers with a sound knowledge of dance technique and terminology within the discipline and ability to execute movements with ease.
