Storybook Ballet

Storybook Ballet is a magical six-week dance experience created especially for ages 3–5. Each adventure brings a new story to life through beginner ballet, imaginative movement, music, props, storytime and creative activities. Dancers finish their adventure with a special in-studio performance for family and friends!

Each 6-Week Adventure Includes...

❥ Weekly ballet class built around age-appropriate fundamentals: positions, pliés, relevés, balance, coordination, musicality, following directions, and creative movement.

❥ Story Time with a story that unfolds over the six weeks. In each class we will spend approximately 5 minutes reading a story that correlates with what movement or ballet skill they will be learning that day!

❥ In-studio performance for families and friends at the end of our six week adventure. The performance is complete with Photo Ops and special recognition for each dancer.

Each Dancer Will Receive...

❥ A special prop each session; fairy wands, scarves, crowns, flowers, ribbons, snowflakes, butterfly wings…a few examples of what type of prop they may get to use during the session and then take home after the session concludes.

❥ Coloring/activity pages that coordinate with each week's adventure. These will be sent home at the end of each class so that dancers can complete them throughout the week and practice the new ballet steps they learned in class.

❥ Certificate of Completion that will be awarded at the in-studio performance saying they completed that Storybook Ballet Adventure.

❥Storybook Ballet Passport which is a keepsake booklet filled with achievement charts and star stickers, a “stamp” for each Storybook Adventure they complete and more fun pages for the dancers.
